Snadboy's Revelation (v2.0) can be a really handy program to have. This program will uncover passwords hidden behind asterisks and allow you to recover those passwords which are saved, but you just can't remember.
The program is older, but nevertheless still useful. Using Snadboy's Revelation is quite easy and involves dragging the program's cursor over a text field and tada, the password hidden behind those pesky asterisks will become visible.
Conveniently, you can also copy the password that you've just recovered to your computer's clipboard.
When we tried out this program, it was able to reveal passwords from Internet Explorer, Outlook Express, Windows Live Mail, Opera and Chrome. Unfortunately, it wasn't able to reveal any passwords in Firefox so you might have to look elsewhere if that's what you're after.
Revelation can recover RAR passwords, recover ZIP passwords, recover FTP passwords and reveal hidden passwords.
Revelation is licensed as Freeware for Windows (32-bit and 64-bit) operating system / platform from password recovery software without restrictions. Revelation 2.0 is available to all software users as a free download (Freeware).
Though this program tested positive for virus tests, some people don't view it as a virus or malware. This could mean toolbars or system modifications.
This download is not considered safe and may result in several virus infections.
Compatibility with this software may vary, but will generally run fine under Microsoft Windows 10, 8, 8.1, 7, Vista and XP on either a 32-bit or 64-bit setup. A separate x64 version may be available from Snadboy.
